Pharalyn Robinson, AMFT (she/they)
I'm Pharalyn, and I go by she/they pronouns. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I'm deeply invested in accompanying individuals on their paths to healing. My personal journey as a queer Black person of biracial background, raised in a low-income setting in the South, has fueled my passion for connecting with diverse and marginalized communities.
In the wise words of Audre Lorde, "it's not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences." Embracing this philosophy, my therapeutic approach revolves around creating a space that honors identity, celebrating the unique strengths of each client. I strive to be inclusive and affirming in every aspect of my work.I draw from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, elements of Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. These tools serve as compass points, guiding my clients on their healing journeys and empowering them to make the changes they aspire to see.
